SLOVAKIA v ENGLAND BETTING PREVIEW
A 2-1 win over Russia saw Slovakia revive their hopes of making the knockout rounds after their 1-2 defeat against Wales in their Euro 2016 opening match. They are third in the group, a point behind England and level on points with Wales. Head to head criteria means they need to better the result the Welsh achieve against Russia in order to automatically advance to the knockout stages.Boss Jan Kozak has no reason to make changes to his starting XI. Norbert Gyombér remains a minor doubt with injury but he has no fresh injury worries. Adam Nemec is expected to lead the line - even if Ondrej Duda is an option - while Vladimir Weiss, Robert Mak and Marek Hamisk will play as offensive midfielders. Juraj Kucka and Patrik Hrosovski will retain their berth in the middle of the part.
England started with a 1-1 draw against Russia having conceded a late equalizer in a game they largely dominated. Then, they were 1-0 down against Wales but managed to come back and win 2-1 courtesy of goals scored by Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge, both introduced from the bench at half time. The Three Lions need a point here to ensure they finish in the top two. A draw could even be enough to win the group, depending on the result in the Russia v Wales game.
Hodgson is likely to make some changes with Daniel Sturridge expected to start. Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane's place is in doubt, meaning that Jamie Vardy could start as well. We might also see Jack Wilshere earning his first start at the expense of Adam Lallana with a change to a 4-3-1-2 formation with Dele Alli moved into a more advanced role.
