SPAIN v COLOMBIA BETTING PREVIEW
Spain come into this game on good form, as they are unbeaten in the last 11 months over six games. In their most recent game back in March, they beat France away 2-0 while their last home match was a 4-1 success over Israel. They are locked level on 13 points with Italy at the top of World Cup qualifying Group G but they boast a better goal diffeence. The Spaniards have won six and drawn two of their last eight internationals, conceding just four goals in the process. These two sides have met just once before, and Spain won that game 2-0. It happened in 2011.Manager Julen Lopetegui is expected to rest all Real Madrid players - Sergio Ramos, Alvaro Morata, Dani Carvajal, Isco, Luis Vasquez and Marco Asensio - who played the Champions League final last Saturday while the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Marcos Alonso and Ander Herrera were left out of the squad. Cesar Azpilicueta is expected to play as centre back, alongside Gerard Pique, with Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto as full backs. Up front, Diego Costa will be the central striker while Pedro and Vitolo will play out wide.
Colombia occupy second spot in CONMEBOL qualifying table, though just two points separate them from Argentina in fifth, with only the top four advancing automatically. Los Cafeteros claimed only two wins from six games following their Copa America Centenario semi-final exit last summer but two consecutive wins over Bolivia and Ecuador earlier this year have put them back in good position to reach Russia 2018.
Juan Cuadrado and James Rodriguez are expected to miss out depsite the former played only few minutes in the UCL Final and the latter was not involved in that match. Radamel Falcao is likely to spearhead the attack in a 4-3-3 starting formation, with Luis Muriel and Edwin Cardona on his flanks. David Ospina will start between the posts, while Santiago Arias, Yerry Mina, Cristian Zapata and Pablo Armero are expected to form the four man backline.
