USA v COLOMBIA BETTING PREVIEW

USA will be looking to improve upon what has been a frustrating few games since the end of the World Cup. They had a good start with a 1-0 victory over Czech Republic, but that victory was followed up by two disappointing 1-1 draws at home against Ecuador and Honduras.

Klinsmann has named a strong squad—16 of whom played at the World Cup—including some youngsters like 20-year-old Stanford student Jordan Morris. The other player to look out for is Lee Nguyen, who is making a return to the national team for the first time in seven years. He has been tremendous for the New England Revolution with 18 goals and five assists this season. Notable absences for the US in this game include Clint Dempsey, Michael Bradley and Omar Gonzalez.

Colombia has won 2 of their 3 games since the end of the World Cup, against El Salvador and Canada, with the only loss coming against Brazil in Miami. That lost and the World Cup elimination game remain Los Cafeteros’ only defeats in the last 15 matches.

Radamel Falcao of Manchester United is still out with the same injury problems that caused him to miss the World Cup. Bacca, who has been terrific for Sevilla so far this season scoring seven times in 11 appearances, could lead the attack alongside Cuadrado, James Rodriguez and Jackson Martinez.
