WEST HAM vs BRIGHTON BETTING PREVIEW
After a sluggish start to the campaign, West Ham are now on a decent run of form - two wins, two draws and just the one defeat in the last 5 outings. The form at home is top notch as they defeated Huddersfield and Swansea with clean sheets, while losing to Tottenham in the 2-3 thriller. The Hammers - who sit 15th in the table - have kept a clean sheet in three of their last 4 games in front of their own supporters. Last weekend, they managed to draw 1-1 at Burnley altough Andy Carroll was sent out after 27 minutes.
Slaven Bilic will be without the suspended Andy Carroll, while Diafra Sakho is out due to a back injury. Chicharito Hernandez should be okay to start and will be supported by Michail Antonio, Marko Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini, with Andr+ Ayew providing a further option. Either Mark Noble or Pedro Obiang could be handed a recall alongside Cheikhou Kouyate in central midfield while Pablo Zabaleta, Winston Reid, Jose Fonte and Aaron Cresswell all look set to start in defence once more. Goalkeeper Adrian is a major doubt while defender James Collins is out through injury.
Brighton & Hove Albion enter this match on the back of a 1-1 home draw against Everton last weeked. They sit 14th in the Premier League standings, levelo on points with West Ham. The Seagulls are adapting to life in the top flight and have lost only two of their last six Premier League outings. Anyway, they have struggled on the road thus far, picking up just one point from their trip to Vicarage Road and losing their three league games plus their EFL Cup clash at Bournemouth. Plus, they have scored just one goal in their five away games in all competitions so far.
Chris Hughton hopes to have Shane Duffy fit after the defender was forced off during the 1-1 draw with Everton due to a groin injury. Uwe Hunemeier will be on standby, with Bruno, Lewis Dunk and Markus Suttner set to retain their starts elsewhere in the back four. Pascal Gross is expected to start in the central support role, with Glenn Murray perhaps keeping his place as the lone striker ahead of Izzy Brown. Tomer Hemed serves the third of a three-match ban, while Steve Sidwell is ruled out with a back issue while Beram Kayal and Sam Baldock are both doubts.
