DILLIAN WHYTE vs LUCAS BROWNE BETTING PREVIEW
Dillian Whyte (22-1) rose to prominence through his rivalry with Anthony Joshua. His sole defeat in professional career came against "AJ" when he lost his temper at early rounds in that fight before being heavily knocked out on round 7. Whyte's best performance came when he outpointed Dereck Chisora at the end of 2016, in what was a very entertaining fight. He was last in the ring in October, when he managed to gain a unanimous decision win over Finland’s Robert Helenius.
Whyte should have a significant stamina and fitness advantage over his opponent. He has always had plenty of power and a great chin, and he is also improved his footwork and boxing ability since that defeat to Joshua. Anyway, in his two biggest wins on his CV, against Helenius and Chisora, he has needed the help of the judges after a 12-round outing. He is a defensively poor boxer though, lunging in without a jab looking to walk down opponents.

Lucas Browne is on a 25-fight unbeaten run and is still unbeaten in his professional career. He has fought just once since he beat Ruslan Chagaev in March 2016 to become the WBA (Regular) champion. The Australian was later stripped of that title for a positive drug test. He is on a run of four successive stoppage victories since November 2014, including a second-round KO of Matthew Greer (16-22) last June. The Aussie dropped Greer several times before eventually finishing him in the second round. Despite unbeaten, Browne has not fight with top-class fighters. He could not stop an old James Toney and has only two wins over unbeaten opponents. He edged Andriy Rudenko who was comfortably beaten by a young Hughie Fury in his next bout and stopped Richard Towers.
Browne is seen as a power puncher having stopped 22 of his 25 opponents but two rounds in 24 months could be a massive hang up for him. On the other side, Whyte fought six times in last 24 months and improved gradually in every outing. Stamina could be a real concern for the Australian given that he is only gone 12 rounds on three occasions, the last of which was against Andriy Rudenko in 2014.
